Ingredients of Oats Poha Recipe

  1. Rolled Oats- 30 g
  2. Chopped cauliflower – 1 tblsp
  3. Chopped carrot – 1 tblsp
  4. Chopped onion – 1 tblsp
  5. Chopped capsicum – 1 tblsp
  6. Mustard oil – 1 tsp
  7. Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
  8. Curry leaves – 5-6 leaves
  9. Salt
  10. Red chilli
  11. Turmeric
  12. Lemon Juice – 1
  13. Chopped coriander
  14. Water
  15. Chopped Peanuts(optional) – 5 g

How to make Oatmeal Poha?

  1. In a kadai, add mustard oil and mustard seeds. Let them splatter.
  2. Then add curry leaves. Now add chopped veggies, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric and stir well.
  3. To this add rolled oats and mix well again. Add a little water and cover for 2 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid, turn off the flame and add lemon juice and chopped coriander. Oats poha is ready to serve.
  5. You can even add scrambled paneer to the recipe.
